Premium is a young American underground Hip-Hop recording artist, producer, mixing engineeer, and founder / CEO of indie record label "Twizted Di$trict Productions". 

Premium was born on February 3, 1995 in Post Falls, ID as "Michael Halterman". His early influences were Eminem, Mac Miller, Chris Webby, Nas, J Cole, and D-Pryde due to their cleverly crafted rhyme schemes and use of multi-syllables and metaphors. who  started started writing Raps as an extracurricular hobby in middle school at the age of 14

native to Coeur d'Alene, ID. Premium started his career after founding his first independant record label, "Black Lung Productions" at age 16. As his position in the underground scene of Spokane, WA progressed further and further, Premium became notorious for his clever and witty metaphorical lyrical style, as well as his air tight compressed flow, commonly being compared in similarity to Eminem, Machine Gun Kelly, and Chiddy Bang, to name a few. Premium eventually built business relationships to other local underground artists who seemed to be getting attention to their names and formed a seperate independant label operating under the name "Twisted, Lifted, Gifted" or "T.L.G.", The group consisted of Premium himself, Seanie Jackson (Seanie SoFamous), Dashaun Ross (Mr. Lethal), Demetrie Olsen (Mad Money D), and Mac Roe (Mac Roe). It wasn't long before the team managed to capture a mass amount of interest through various collab mixtapes, group shows, and independant tours.
